Well, May has come and gone, and just as the weather has left everyone wondering "When will summer get here?", so must everyone be wondering "When will Henry's disc get here?". The answer is the same in both cases - not yet. I haven't started compiling it yet, but haven't ruled out that it may arrive on the first warm breezes of summer. Or it may come with the first icy blast of winter. Either way I will deliver.
I have however noticed a distinct waning of enthusiasm for this project lately. Kudos to Mike and Sonya for being the only ones so far this year to get their discs out. Or at least those are the only ones I've received so far. Very imaginative selections. I still have both of them on rotation in the car. Is everyone still into the whole CD club thing? Let me know.

Yup. Definitely into the cd thing. Cherrie and I (and the kids) totally dig the new cds. Rosalie

There are definitely people who are listening to the disks, but don't post to the blog. Costi listens to everything faithfully, and I know Steve is finally plowing through his whole stack. Brian told me he played my St paddy's day disk of last year just a few days ago, and Harpal (not an official member) listens the disks when Costi brings them to his office. I for one want to keep the thing alive, but perhaps the group should be streamlined a bit at some point. Thanks to Kent, I have discovered a ton of music I would never have heard without the club....so send me your disks!

Well I'm in to it, and I listen to all of the discs....but hey, I'm also a bit biased. I am completely in support of streamlining the group to ensure participation, enthusiasm, etc. The number of unsent discs going back into last year is quite disappointing, although I too have gone through a period of late, where I am far to busy for my own good and had it been my turn to produce a disc I would have been kephuck'd. Anywhoo, I am up in August and intend on trying to deliver something different. Keep up the discussion and if anyone has ideas, please let me know. Please also visit the LINKS TO OTHER COOL THINGS...in particular, Redfishsuicide...this is my brother-in-laws site where he posts some of his digital art and animation. The other things are just neat things. If you know of any other interesting sites, blogs, etc, let me know and I will add them.
BTW, going to see TV On The Radio tomorrow nite at the Metropolis thanks to Rosalie and Cherrie. Looking forward to it. Over........and out! Kent
