The mix ended up being pretty mellow save for a few obvious exceptions. The second half includes selections from my favorite Requiem masses by Verdi, Brahms, Mozart, and Faure. I hope people give it at least one listen. You should crank the volume for the first selection, which should appeal to fans of heavy music in general. The rest is pretty melodic, especially the Verdi "Hostias" and the Faure "Pie Jesu".

March '09 Mix/Requiem
Hey everyone. My March disc is going in the mail tomorrow (Wednesday). It's really two separate albums. The first half is another mix of what I've liked lately (that was not from the group). Quite a few covers ended up on the disc (by M.Ward, Beck, Sublime, and AC Newman), along with tracks by The Nationa
